Denise is a printmaker using traditional printmaking techniques to create modern, abstract hand-pulled prints in small limited editions. Many of the prints are numbered as part of Variable Editions; this means that each print is slightly different and unique.
Her work explores qualities of mark making with layers of tone, texture, colour and light. She enjoys the spontaneous and intuitive process of monotype printing. When combined with other techniques, it allows for experimentation, keeping the results fresh and often unpredictable.
She exhibits regularly with other printmakers as part of Bodenpress.
