MARIAN CARTER

Marian Carter is an artist/printmaker who has lived in Buckinghamshire for many years.  She trained as a graphic designer in the early 1980s and attended a printmaking course at Amersham College in the late 1990s.  She has been printmaking ever since.

Marian joined Bodenpress in 2009 where she refined her printmaking skills with help from Helen Boden. She uses several different techniques including etching, collagraph, polymer etching and screen printing but specialises in reduction linocutting.

Her subject matter is diverse and includes cars, trains, people and still life, as well as landscapes, animals and birds. The National Trust recently used some of Marian’s designs for a set of notecards depicting British birds.

Marian has had her work in many exhibitions and galleries, both locally and in London. Marian is delighted to be exhibiting with the talented group of artists at St Dunstan’s Church this year.
