Julie is currently studying at Newlyn School of Art and is pursuing an abstract approach with her painting. She has adopted a new way of working with oil and mixed media. Her focus is on movement, energy and colour, allowing the paint to take its own course. Her initial ideas stem from a random starting point that takes her on a path of discovery often resulting in a multi -disciplined conclusion.
Prior to this, Julie trained as a Graphic Designer specialising in Packaging. She is also a qualified art teacher.
